Learning Discernment – Heart and Feather Energy Healing

Learning Discernment

Being a healer, my major driving force is to understand a basic structure of the Universe and how it reflects onto who we are as human species.  Divinity is our Source and inherent nature which is why we are manifesters; we manifest our reality. The key to healing is in taking an ownership of this manifesting potential.  It’s about being responsible for experiences we create in order to perceive the Divine Source from a position of an outsider.

With that in mind, let’s see the Good as an abundance of Divine Light, and the Evil as a lack of the latter – both manifested by us, the Divine beings, for the purpose of learning discernment as a way of reconnecting with our Divine roots. Without this contrast between Good and Evil, it’d be very difficult for us to move up the ladder of spiritual evolution.

Obviously most of us prefer Light but get led astray when searching for it. Not just that, we often end up wandering into truly dark places. The reason for this is a necessity to learn discernment in order to evolve. How can we appreciate the Light without losing it first?

From my experience, the Good and Evil are usually mixed together, as Evil finds its way even into the most Light-oriented spiritual teachings. It’s this maddening mix which presents a true discernment challenge, and as much as you can respect a particular teacher or a school of thought, in the end it all comes to your personal judgement.

Many so called “enlightened” leaders love teaching discernment, only to impose their own views on the unsuspecting audience. Beware of those! Discernment is the hardest thing to learn; it’s an on-going task of a lifetime, a way of the lonely warrior. However without this thorny road, our spiritual evolution would be impossible.
